# Justiça

**Incorpora garantias e salvaguardas aos utilizadores e beneficiários, sendo justos e não discriminativos**

A justiça na IA implica garantir que os sistemas não reproduzem nem amplificam desigualdades existentes. Um sistema justo deve ser imparcial, inclusivo e respeitar os direitos de todos os cidadãos.

Para isso é necessário:

* Utilizar dados representativos e de qualidade, evitando vieses históricos;
* Avaliar continuamente os impactos sociais e económicos das decisões automatizadas;
* Assegurar igualdade de acesso e tratamento para todos os grupos sociais;
* Implementar mecanismos de revisão e correção de eventuais injustiças.

A introdução de viés pode ocorrer de forma involuntária, através de dados incompletos, estereótipos culturais ou limitações técnicas. Por isso, é essencial desenvolver procedimentos padronizados para identificar e mitigar esses riscos, promovendo uma IA que contribua para uma sociedade mais justa e equitativa.
